Dear Parents and Carers,

What a term!

We have had a very eventful term here at Stoke where children have benefitted from trips out to enhance their learning, new timeline artwork completed, visits to a local orchard and regular visits from Dotty the therapy dog to name just a few!

Parental engagement

  • We were thrilled to see so many of you at parents evenings this week; it makes such a difference to your children when they see we are working together to help them reach their full potential.
  • Thank you to all who attended the SEND coffee morning (including one of our Governors Christina Steninger), it is always good to share experiences and support.
  • We were delighted that so many families (and one of our Governors, Pam Timms) came to our afternoon coffee and cake session where we had a number of interpreters to help where English is an additional language. We love welcoming our new families and will always find ways to help every individual.
  • Thank you for your engagement with the MMR vaccines.

Farewell

We said goodbye to Mrs Taylor today who is going on to new adventures. The trees she planted at the front of the school will be a constant reminder of how she has motivated and inspired so many children.

Attendance

Today we celebrated Sky Blue and Godiva who had joint highest attendance in the school this term. They were awarded with some extra playtime – you may have heard the cheers in assembly!!

Happy Holiday

Whatever you do over the next two weeks, we wish you well and hope that you can enjoy some time with your wonderful children.

We look forward to seeing you on Monday 8th April for the start of the summer term for more learning, friendship, development and fun.

Thanks for your ongoing support.

Kind regards

Lucy Pater
