Dear Parents and Carers,

Year 6 are going to be hosting our next fundraising day to help us to raise money for Hope Foundation School in Malawi and it will take place on Wednesday 19^th October 2022. They have chosen a Geography theme called 'Dress as a flag!'. Children are invited to wear clothes that are the same colours as the flag of a particular country. It can be any country that they like - although it would be lovely to see a variety of different countries chosen and not just England!

Here are some ideas that Year 6 came up with: 

Clothes that are blue, white or red could represent the French flag

Clothes with moon or stars on could represent the Singapore flag

If your child has some traditional clothes from their home country, it would be fantastic if they could wear these to school instead.

There is NO expectation that parents and carers need to go out and buy new clothes for this. Children can just wear whatever clothes they already have!
