Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had an amazing start to transition week with children well settled, happy, excited and enthusiastic. They have met their new teachers and teaching assistants and are already showing how grown up they are as they prepare for the new class expectations. Thank you for sharing their excitement and supporting drop offs and pick ups at new classrooms. Next week, transition week will continue on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

A reminder that school will be closed next Wednesday and Friday due to the strike action. Nursery will still be open as normal. Thank you for your support with this.

The choir did us proud this week as they performed at Warwick University. Thank you to Miss Burns for organising this.

We have also seen great sporting success as our year 5 and 6 children took part in a football tournament and some of our KS2 children took part in a rugby game. The children certainly used their learning qualities as they persevered and challenged themselves. Last week our orienteers won a medal for their awesomeness too!!

A reminder about sports day: Parents and Carers all welcome, please come and support!
