Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you to all those who came to our SEND coffee morning this week. Becci Cain from ‘Complex Communication Team’ (CCT) and Tahira Marlow from ‘Social, emotional, mental health and learning’ (SEMHL) were able to discuss concerns and offer advice to those who attended. We will hold these on the last Wednesday of each half term. It would be lovely to see you at the next one in July if you are interested.

The children have worked hard exploring their topics this half term and are now ready for a week with you! We hope you can enjoy the time together, fingers crossed for good weather.

Congratulations to Mr Morrow on the birth of his little boy, he was able to time his paternity leave perfectly after the SATS. We are looking forward to seeing him back after the half term week.

Thank you for making sure children are in school, even on their birthdays!! It is so important that they do not miss chunks of learning.

If you need to book a medical appointment for your child, please do your best to book it outside of school hours and provide the office with proof of your appointment. We expect your child to attend school before or after their appointment.

If you have any worries regarding your child’s attendance or punctuality, please pop along on a Monday afternoon for a cuppa with Rebecca Fenlon (Family Team) and Jeni Watkins (Local Authority Attendance Officer).
