Resources- Developing Understanding of the World Skills

The best way to support your child's understanding about the world around them is to talk about what you are doing, what they can see and ask them what they think.

There is no 'wrong' answer, it's just what they are thinking!

Talk about people you meet, the jobs they are doing, why they are important to our community?

Talk about the weather, has it changed, what season are we in, what do you notice?

What can you see growing?  How have they grown?  What animals can you visit to learn more about?

Talk about how you use the internet to find out about things, what shall we find out about today?
