Year 3

Squirrel Class

Hi all, as you now know, I will be teaching Squirrel class from September! I have been amazed at their progress since I last taught them – let’s keep that going. I am so excited about teaching Squirrel class, that I will be teaching them all week, no more Thursday ‘lie ins’ for me. Mrs Sagoo will be our LSA and she will work every morning and all day on a Wednesday. I have worked with Mrs Sagoo previously and trust me when I say that your children are in the best and most capable hands.

During this week we have spent time getting to know each other (again), setting the expectations for the year, and finding out what we are going to be learning about in year 3. After the first 10 days, we will start our new topic ‘Through the Ages’, where we be looking at Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age.

Every child needs a named bottle filled with water. We will have a special tray which will be taken outside during playtime and lunchtime.

Please also ensure that your child has a PE kit in school. This should include blue or black shorts, jogging bottoms or leggings, their team-coloured top, and a change of shoes (pumps or trainers.)

I can’t wait until September! Have an amazing and safe summer.

Mouse Class

Hi all, as you now know, I will be teaching Mouse class from September! They have made amazing progress throughout the year and showed great enthusiasm this week so let’s keep that same energy for September. I am excited about teaching Mouse class and I am looking forward to getting to know the children. Mrs Mohammed will be our LSA which is fantastic because Mrs Mohammed has previously worked with the class and is a familiar face.
