Dear Parents and Carers,

Active week success!

There has been so much energy this week! Thank you for engaging in biking, scooting or walking to school this week. The children have loved being out on the bikes, thank you Mr Pahal for organizing this. The children have demonstrated lots of personal qualities having had to persevere, challenge themselves, focus, explore and reflect as they master biking skills. Some have ridden a bike for the first time. Well done all!! We hope that more walking and biking will continue beyond this week!!

A reminder about attendance:

• School starts at 8:55am. It is vital that your child arrives to school on time so they don’t miss out on any learning.
• You must contact school on each day of absence. Please use the Studybugs App.
• We may ask you for medical evidence if your child is absent.
• It is your legal responsibility as a parent/carer to make sure your child is in school every day and on time.

If you are worried about your child’s attendance or punctuality, please pop in on any Monday afternoon for a chat with Rebecca Fenlon (Family Team) and Jeni Watkins (Local Authority Attendance Officer).

July 12^th KS1 sports day (time to be confirmed)

July 20^th Summer Fayre: 2pm onwards.
