Dear Parents and Carers,

Another good week of learning. We have been pushing our learning qualities in school, ask your children to sing for you (words below so you can join in with them!!):

‘You’ve got to challenge yourself every day

You’ve got to persevere in every way

You’ve got to focus and explore

And when you’re sure you can do no more

You’ve got to stop, reflect and celebrate!!’   

Please continue to hear your child read at least 4 times a week at home so they make maximum progress and encourage them to go on Times Tables Rock Stars. to help with their multiplication speed.

We are looking for interesting artifacts from different countries, if you have any we can borrow or have to create intrigue among the children, please let us know.

A reminder to those who have been sent invites to the SEND coffee morning on Wednesday 9am. Please confirm with the office if you are attending, thank you. If you haven’t received an invite but are interested, again, contact the office to book a space.

If you need to book a medical appointment for your child, please do your best to book it outside of school hours and provide the office with proof of your appointment. We expect your child to attend school before or after their appointment.

If you have any worries regarding your child’s attendance or punctuality, please pop along on a Monday afternoon for a cuppa with Rebecca Fenlon (Family Team) and Jeni Watkins (Local Authority Attendance Officer).
