Earthquake Investigation - December 2023
We had great fun this morning, learning all about earthquakes and their epicentres. We made predictions about where abouts in our cities, the most damage would occur using our knowledge of natural disasters. We then looked at the type of structures and their placement in the cities - this links really nicely to our next topic! As we were investigating, we were collecting vocabulary to do with actions and feelings which we will use when we write our story about escaping a natural disaster! We also thought about what the characters would say and how they would say it.
