Dear Parents,

With Year 6 isolating at home, we will be doing online lessons from Monday (16^th November) up until Tuesday 24^th November.

Online lessons will be delivered through Zoom. For this, children need a device with internet access with the ZOOM app (which must be signed in as the child), they do not need to set up an individual account. Clicking on any of the links from the school web page will allow the app to be opened.

The timetable for the day will be as follows:

You will receive an email telling you which group your child will be in, along with the passcode.

In the afternoons, the children will be doing a series of curriculum based tasks for Thematic, RE and Science, the link for which is also on the Home Learning tab. It is expected that your child will join all lessons and complete all of the given tasks. This is not optional and we will be taking registers in each session. It is important that children maintain their learning through this time.

Miss Joyce and Miss Ashford will be doing individual 1:1 reading with some children during the afternoon using Zoom also. These children will be informed separately with a slot for their reading session.

At the time of the session, they will need to join the meeting using the link in the Zoom Home Schooling tab on the class pages of the website. Link Here

You will then be prompted to enter the passcode for that meeting. It is vital that children are on time to allow the lesson to start. Children will need a pen/pencil and piece of paper to complete tasks throughout the sessions.

If for any reason your child is unable to join an online lesson you will need to inform Mrs Noone immediately on v.noone@stoke.coventry.sch.uk and arrange to collect a work pack from the school office. This should then be completed and returned to school.
