Thank you for working with us over recent days and weeks as we have managed the challenge of avoiding coronavirus in school. Your children have been fantastic and I must thank the cleaning team at school for their hard work making sure school is as clean as it can be.
Yesterday the government made a clear announcement with advice for us all. Please follow these actions carefully.
· Children should stay at home if they are unwell with a new, continuous cough or a high temperature to avoid spreading infection to others. Otherwise they should attend education or work as normal.
· If children become unwell at school with a new, continuous cough or a high temperature they will be sent home.
· If a family member is unwell with a new, continuous cough or a high temperature to avoid spreading infection the family should self-isolate for 14 days
School remains open and we are continuing to respond to all advice given to us. School is being cleaned to a high standard and children and staff are being responsible for hygiene , both hand washing regularly and managing sneezes and nose blowing.
There are updates daily. If this information changes significantly we will write to you again. All letters are being put on the school website where they can be accessed through Google Translate.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
