Dear Parent/Carers of Nursery Children,

Capturing Coventry

I have some very exciting news to share as part of our whole school Coventry topic this term.

During this topic, I would like children to take part in a photographing Coventry challenge. The idea being that it is not about their level of expertise as a photographer, nor is it a competition, it is about them getting outside and noticing the beauty within the city.

The photograph can be of anything at all in Coventry. It can be Arty or just ordinary. They could use filters or just leave it be. However, the idea is that these photos will capture Coventry in a variety of ways. They can just use a phone, ipad or camera  with an adult to help them.

When they have taken their photograph, can you please send it via the Tapestry app so it will form part of their learning journey.

This will start from Wednesday 10th March and they will have 2 weeks to submit their photographs.

Although this is optional, I believe that it is a lovely way to unite the school given the current circumstances.  Therefore, I hope that there will be a positive response to this given that it is accessible to all and that all submitted entries will be used to create a montage that will be something we can all be proud of.
