Dear Parents and Carers,

As you are aware our PE day is Wednesday this half term.  Now that the children are in Reception we are developing their independent skills in dressing and undressing, meaning that we assist the children but that they must get themselves changed.  It is important that children practise this at home too. 

 

Some of the key things to practise:

  • doing and undoing buttons
  • pulling on socks or tights
  • turning items outside in when they have been taken off
  • doing zips and hooks up on trousers or dresses
     
    Whilst children are still becoming confident, please choose easier school uniform options on PE days, such as pull on trousers and t-shirts rather than shirts.  Your support is appreciated.
