Dear Parents and Carers,

So, what has been going on this week? Well, the children took turns to row during our celebration this morning and clocked up 3,700 meters between them!! We launched timestable rockstars in Key stage two and loved seeing the range of rock star outfits (from adults as well as children!). They have remained inspired in Maths!

Here are some of the things the children tell us about their learning at Stoke.

Ikjot says ‘It is fun and enjoyable. Algebra is challenging and we have to try hard to get it’.

Aasika tells us ‘I love learning about decimals in Maths because it is hard but when I focus, I can do it’.

Blake ‘I love Maths because I get to learn new things and Mr Morrow gives me challenges’.

Layla ‘I like to reflect on my work to make it even better’.

Please continue to get your children to school on time every day so they can maximise learning opportunities in school.
