Year 4

Year 4 had a fantastic day learning all about Hiku poetry from Japan with Emily.

We learnt the rules for these poems which are:

  •  No title
  • 3 lines
  • The first line must have 5 syllables
  • The second line must have 7 syllables 
  • The third line must have 5 syllables

 

A traditional Hihu would have been about on of the seasons but we wrote ours about our school.
