Dear Parents,

We feel very disappointed with the current situation of schools being closed for the time being. Despite this, we will do everything we can as a team to make the next few weeks as purposeful as possible for the children.

For the next couple of days, we have created work packs for the children which can be collected from the school office from today between 9am and 4pm or they can be emailed out to you if you wish. In addition, we will also set some tasks on Purple Mash and some online resources are listed below which the children can access.

We aim to set up online lessons to run from Thursday 7^th January which will be placed in the home-learning section of the school website.  Unfortunately, due to the whole school being closed to students, we are unable to offer live zoom sessions as before, so these will be pre-recorded videos with a follow up activity which children will need to submit via Purple Mash for checking.

We will be running a Zoom check-in every Wednesday (from 13^th January) at 11am for 1 hour, where children can log in at any time during this hour to ask any questions they have and keep in touch with us and each other.  They will need to log into Miss Ward’s zoom session on the website using the passcode: E52UtjHide to join.  This will be for all Year 5 children.
