Dear Parents and Carers
With the first term now complete, we would like to take the opportunity to share a few messages with you all.
Firstly, a big thank you to you for your continued support. By adapting and cooperating with the changes we have had to make to the morning and after school procedures and parent consultations becoming virtual, you have helped us to keep the children and families of Stoke safe.
The term has seen us make changes across the curriculum to improve the teaching and learning at Stoke. There is a real excitement around school as we embrace new changes and challenges and the children seem to be enjoying the process. The children have worked hard this term and we hope they have a great Christmas break.
Despite the COVID challenges we face, we have continued to make Christmas a special time for our children. The calendar was a huge success and received much positive feedback so thank you for this. We held our bubble Christmas Fayre in the hall which the children and staff loved. It may have been different but was a pleasure to be a part of. We even had a visit and a special message from Santa! All the children received a present - a book that we hope they will cherish and enjoy.
Going into January, we will continue to improve the teaching and learning at Stoke, to give the children the best possible experience we can.
The school reopens to children on Tuesday 5th January.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
The Year 3 and 4 team
