Dear Parents and Carers

Social Distancing

I am pleased with many aspects of our return to school however the morning drop off and afternoon collection still needs to improve. 

You will all know from the news that cases are increasing.  It is vital that we all work together to make Stoke Primary School a success for all our children, staff and parents.

Up to now staff have not routinely worn masks when on gate duty.  I am encouraging them to do so for the coming days.

To make the pavement safer I would request that we all follow these rules

• 1 parent per child at the school gate
• Parents leave as soon as the child has entered school with staff
• I encourage everyone to wear a mask
  We are going to be painting 2 metre boxes around each entrance area as a reminder of the amount of space we need in order to bring children in safely.
  I also ask that once your child has come into school you don’t call to them over the fence.  Staff are talking and sharing information with your children and they always need to be ready to listen to staff.
  If you have any queries, in the first instance please call or email the school office, contact details above, subsequently if you are asked to come to the school office then please ensure you wear a mask, keep it on covering both nose and mouth whilst in the foyer and stand behind the marking on the floor, please do not cross it.
