31st March 2023

Dear Parents and Carers,

Our new bins have arrived! Next term children will learn more about how to recycle waste so they feel part of doing their bit to contribute to looking after the planet! It would be great if you can start these conversations at home so they know what is cardboard, plastic, paper and food waste and what are the items that cannot be recycled.

Today we celebrated star readers, writers and mathematicians; we are proud of all the children’s achievements this term. Please continue to encourage your children to read  for pleasure at home, we have a selection of books they can borrow if you are short. We are pleased with the level of engagement on Timestable Rockstars! Please keep this up over Easter too.

Thank you to all staff for their commitment to the afterschool clubs. The children do love the variety we offer. A reminder to please ensure you are on time to collect your children.

Please remember that school starts at 8:55am. We are still having a lot of children who are late. Please help your child to be organised by encouraging them to get their things ready the night before. You might even need to set your alarm a little earlier to make sure you have plenty of time to get ready.

Walking into a classroom late makes children feel embarrassed so please help prevent this by getting your child here on time. Thank you.
