Dear Parents,

We feel very disappointed with the current situation of schools being closed for the time being. Despite this, we will do everything we can as a team to make the next few weeks as purposeful as possible for the children.

For the next couple of days, we have created work packs for the children which can be collected from the school office from today between 9am and 4pm. Alternatively, we will also set some tasks on Purple Mash and some online resources are listed below which the children can access.

We aim to set up online lessons to run from Thursday 7th January which will be placed in the home learning section of the school website.  Unfortunately, due to the whole school being closed to students we are unable to offer live zoom sessions as before, so these will be pre-recorded videos with a follow up activity which children will need to submit via Purple Mash for checking.

We will be running a daily Zoom check in between 11 and 12pm where children can log in to ask any questions they have and keep in touch with us and each other.  They will need to log into Mrs Noone’s zoom session on the website using the passcode: 1A2LbD

In the afternoons, the children will be doing a series of curriculum based tasks for Thematic, RE and Science the link for which is also on the Home Learning tab on the school website. It is expected that your child will join all lessons and complete all of the given tasks. This is not optional and we will be monitoring which children are submitting the tasks. It is important that children maintain their learning through this time.

If for any reason your child is unable to access the materials online you will need to inform Mrs Noone immediately on v.noone@stoke.coventry.sch.uk
