Here at Stoke Primary School, we believe that children learn best and most rapidly when they have a secure set of qualities to rely on when things get tough. As well as delivering the National Curriculum, we teach children how to learn and how to overcome difficulties to set them up as lifelong learners.
The qualities we believe that will enable our children to flourish are, having the ability to:
Challenge themselves
Persevere
Focus
Explore
Reflect
Celebrate
Through each of these qualities, we raise awareness of the characteristics of effective learning helping children to articulate learning strategies.
