Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you

We have had another great week at school and have loved hearing about the yr 6 Dol ‘Y’ Moch adventures. So many happy children and parents. Thank you so much to all the staff who gave up their weekend and evenings to enable this to happen.

Challenge yourself

We have launched the term with assemblies and discussions focusing on challenging ourselves to the best version of ourselves. It has been great to hear about some of the successes in classes this week. Year 2 have been expert pizza makers, challenging themselves to try new foods, yr 3 have visited the library challenging themselves to read a variety of books, yr 5 have challenged themselves to demonstrate the best concentration skills possible and year 1 have challenged themselves to create bridges to protect the Three Billy Goats Gruff! Year 6 certainly challenged themselves in lots of ways at Dol ‘Y’ Moch and we look forward to hearing about year 4’s trip to the zoo and any challenges they came across.

Please ensure your child is in school on time every day – it is so important for their learning and progress. Remember to hear them read and log on Boom reader four times a week so they keep up with their friends.

A reminder not to bring electric scooters onto the playground and to ensure you are not on your phones as you drop off and greet your children at the end of the day.

Please drive and park safely and legally.

Have a good and safe weekend. See you on Monday.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Kind regards
