We are now in the last week of term and what a term it has been. Thank you to the whole school community for the way we have worked together over these challenging times. I am very grateful to the whole school team for the way they have found ways to solve problems, support and check that our children are well.
Tomorrow you will receive a letter by email from your child’s new teacher welcoming them to their new class for September. We have exciting plans for when we reopen that will help your children back into school and rebuild their school based learning.
We look forward to all our children returning on Wednesday 2nd September.
This week you will also receive your child’s report in the post. This reflects on their learning up to the start of the closure. Please read it carefully. We know that there will be challenges re-engaging your children with their learning in September due to the closure. We have been working hard on systems to do this quickly but also making sure that it is of a high quality.
As an update we have a small number of staffing changes within school. Mrs Fletcher is moving from Nursery to teach in Year 1 and Miss Lewis is moving from teaching in Year 1 to Year 3. We have two new teachers joining us in September. Mrs Lapworth will teach in Nursery and we are welcoming back Miss Ward who will teach in Year 5.
To help you stay up to date with what is happening please remember to download the school APP to your phones or tablets. This app will let you see letters, know what’s going on and stay up to date with the latest information.
