Dear Parents and Carers,

This Wednesday, our school council each followed in the footsteps of a designated teacher. Panuel spent the day as ‘Deputy Headteacher’. One of his jobs was to write the newsletter, so over to Panuel!!

We have seen lots of hard working children in class who got straight onto learning after assembly. We were able to hand out lots of smilies to children who sang well in assembly and were focusing in their class.

It has been great to see the ceiling changes in reception opening out their environment and making it feel light and airy. Mr McGarrityand Mr McGarrity’s helper have worked very hard.

Year 5 have carried on thinking about space after their trip to the Space Centre and have learned all about Yuri Gagarin. Do ask them to explain more to you!

It was the therapy dog Dotty’s birthday this week – lots of children helped celebrate!

Year 2 had a fantastic trip to Warwick castle today – what an adventure, we look forward to the work and learning that follows this launch to their topic.

Please remember to be in school on time, every day and especially on your birthday – you get a special treat from the learning mentors if you are in!!

We hope you have a relaxing weekend.

Thank you for your ongoing support

Kind regards

Lucy Pater and Panuel

Deputy Headteacher(s)
