This week we are really focussed on ensuring all our children arrive on time. The week started with Miss Fenlon and Jenni, the Local Authority Attendance Officer, out on the gates on Monday morning speaking with everyone who was late.
Lateness, even by a few minutes harms your child’s education and is also disruptive to those children already in class and working when they arrive.
All classes have morning learning which starts as soon as the children arrive and runs up to the first full lesson of the morning at 9.05am. During this session the children have a new challenge or revisit the previous days learning to read feedback from their teachers so they can improve.
It is vital that all our children arrive to make the most of these first minutes of the day.
Please support us all by making sure your child is through the gates before 8.55am.
