Dear Parents and Carers, 

What a busy and festive week we’ve had at school! From house singing to seasonal celebrations, it has been a truly exciting time here at Stoke! 

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our House Singing Afternoons this week! Each House gave an incredible performance, with not only fantastic singing but some wonderful dance moves too! We are so proud of the effort the children put into their songs, and we’d like to send a special thanks to the House adults who organised and choreographed the routines. The energy was high! 

We also want to give a special mention to our School Choir, who performed every afternoon this week. Their confidence and talent shone through, and it was a real joy to hear them singing with such poise and with big smiles on their faces. Well done to all involved and thank you to Miss. Burns for leading our wonderful choir.  

Following the House Singing, we were excited to welcome families to our annual Stoke Grotto. If you managed to visit, we hope you enjoyed the festive magic! The Grotto is always a highlight of the season, and we hope it added some extra cheer to your week. 

Year 4 also had a special visit this week from the Fire Service, as part of their learning about electricity and fire safety. The children had the chance to learn some important safety tips and ask lots of questions.  

Looking ahead, we’re entering the final week of the Autumn Term, and we’re sure there will be plenty more festive activities to enjoy.
