This week we have been investigating the significance of the River Nile to the Ancient Egyptians. Through our exploration, we discovered that the Nile was not only a source of water but also a cornerstone of Egyptian civilization. A key aspect of this was the use of papyrus, a plant essential to various aspects of Egyptian life, including writing, boat construction and more. To gain a true appreciation for the complexity and skill required by the Ancient Egyptians, we undertook the challenge of making our own papyrus paper.📜
