Sculptures inspired by Barbara Hepworth - June 2024

Year 2 have been inspired by the remarkable sculptures of Barbara Hepworth. Captivated by her unique style and profound connection with nature, we embarked on our own artistic adventure, creating sculptures influenced by her work. We honed essential sculpting techniques such as moulding, scoring, and creating a slip. After mastering these skills, we applied them with great enthusiasm and dedication. The results were outstanding and we are incredibly proud of our creations. We cannot wait to visit the Herbert Art Gallery where we will have the opportunity to view Barbara Hepworth's masterpieces in person. ðŸ‘©‍🎨👨‍🎨
