Dear Parents and Carers,

So much to celebrate this week! Year 3 were superstars on their trip to the National History Museum, they were polite, thoughtful, enthusiastic and a credit to the school and yourselves. They thoroughly enjoyed their adventure though I am sure they were ready for their bedtimes by the time they got home!

Thank you to all who came to the Reception information afternoon and participated in the classroom with the children, the children loved having you!

Thank you also to those who came to our new starter coffee afternoon benefitting from the interpreters we had present to help with communication. Delicious cakes and lots of productive conversations as well as a performance on the piano from Godson.

Year 6 have enjoyed a week of outdoors learning, setting up camp in the tent (during the day) and immersing themselves in learning about South America. Their carnival, food tasting and mask making were a great success.

Isaac tells me, ‘Year 5 used virtual reality to see different temples of the Ancient Mayans, it was awesome!!’ please ask your children to elaborate.

This week in our ‘Brilliant Band’ slot in our Wednesday assembly, Year 4 group, ‘Lions of the dragons’, performed their original song ‘I’ve got the joy’

Thank you for your continued support, please let us know if there is anything you need help with.

Have a good and safe weekend.

Kind regards,

Lucy Pater
