Dear Parents and Carers,

Transition Week

Next week we have our transition week, and your child will spend the whole week in their new class with their new teacher.

This week is really important for teachers and children as they get to know each other and get things ready for the best start in September, when we return from the holiday.  Teachers have planned an exciting week to get to know every child in their class and start to look forward to what it means to be in their new year group.

On Monday your child will arrive at school and go to their normal classroom.  Once all the children are in school, we will share with them their new room and teacher. Once the children have gone to their new class, they will spend the rest of the week there.

At the end of each school day your child will come out from their new classroom.  Mrs Pater and I will be on the playground on Tuesday at the end of the day, to direct you where to go to collect your child if you are not sure.

Current Year 6 children will arrive as normal on Monday and will spend the week working in the hall.
