Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had a very exciting week with Year 4 enjoying a one night sleep over at Rough Close – what an experience they have had! Thank you to all involved with organizing and enabling this to happen. We are proud of the experiences we offer to our children and cooking around a campfire and sleeping in huge tents will be a memory the children talk about for a long time.

Reception have ventured to Hatton today loving the animals, tractors and play equipment, lots of language explored and new experiences to talk about.

Please talk to your children about these experiences and be proud of how they have conducted themselves, challenged themselves and shown kindness and empathy. Look out for photos on the school website!

A reminder that children should be collected by an adult or sibling over the age of 14. If this is not the case, it is vital that you arrange a meeting with Mr Ascroft to discuss your situation.

We are proud of the children who took part in an orienteering competition this week. They persevered, challenged themselves, focused, explored and reflected…. And came first!!!

Next Friday 28^th June will be a non uniform day in return for a donation of chocolate for the school fete. The fete will be July 10^th – details to follow.
