23rd May 2024

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you to all who came to our SEND coffee morning this week, another great turn out and opportunity to discuss each unique child and their experiences in school with support and advice from CCT and SEMHL

It sems hardly possible we have reached the end of another half term. It has been a long half term for the children where they have worked hard and explored well; whether through off site adventures or immersive experiences in school to bring their learning to life. See the gallery on our website for photos of what your child has been up to!

Tomorrow, staff will be in school for a training day, but children will not. We hope that over the next week, children will refresh and re-energise ready for the final half term of the year!

Next half term, will be busy with more trips that enhance learning, sports days, transition week and further individual development for all.

A reminder of our exciting plans to revolutionise the playground making break times more purposeful and enjoyable for all children. This will take time but over the next year we hope to add a number of exciting opportunities for the children. We are on the lookout for:

  • Wheeled objects (prams, suitcases, scooters, dolls pushchairs)
  • Old pots and pans
  • Dressing up clothes

If you are getting rid of any of the above items, please let us know!! Thank you.

Please continue to hear your child read at home and provide space and time for them to complete any home learning they may have. This really helps their progress. Little and often and at a time they are most receptive is best!!

We are here to answer any questions and support in any way we can. Just ask!

We hope you have a safe and enjoyable week with your children. See you Monday 3rd June.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Kind regards

Lucy Pater
