Of course, all of our children are actually VIPs (very important people) who shine uniquely in their own way throughout the day. We are grateful for our team of staff who are always on the look out for individual strengths as well personal challenges to overcome ensuring that appropriate adaptations are made. Our child centered curriculum and ethos ensures we seek to see the world through the eyes of the child making Stoke a wonderful place to be.

Year 6 scientists!

Year 6 enjoyed dissecting hearts yesterday and found it fascinating to learn more about the mechanics of what is going on inside us. A reception child walked past, looked through the window and asked, ‘why are they all cutting up steak?’!!! Sorry, there was no steak and chips on offer! We love the curiosity, interest and willingness to ask questions even our youngest children demonstrate!

Reminders

Please note that siblings are only allowed to collect younger children when they are 14 years old (Year 9) or above. If this causes an issue for you, please pop in to discuss this with the family team, Mr Ascroft or myself.

Please come and join us here at school for our very own McMillan cake sale on September 27^th at 2.30pm. you will also have the opportunity to pop into your children’s classes to see what they have been up to.
