Dear Parents and Carers,

A Fantastic Finish to the Half Term!
What a week we’ve had! The school has been bursting with energy and joy as our children have embraced a wide variety of enriching experiences. It’s been a brilliant build-up to the half-term break, and we can’t wait to share some of the highlights with you.

Nursery – Ryton Pools Adventure!
Our Nursery children had a wonderful time exploring Ryton Pools this week! From spotting wildlife to enjoying the great outdoors, the trip was packed with discovery and delight. The children were full of smiles and stories on their return – a big thank you to all the staff who made the day so special.

Year 1 – A Visit from Reverend Bek
Year 1 welcomed Reverend Bek into their classroom this week to support their RE learning. The children were so engaged and asked thoughtful questions, showing great curiosity about the world around them. It was a lovely opportunity to deepen their understanding in a meaningful way.

The Aviary
What a day The Aviary had on their trip to 360 Play! The children (and staff!) had an absolute blast enjoying the fantastic play facilities. There were plenty of giggles, games and group fun – it was truly a day to remember.

SEND Coffee Afternoon – Thank You!

A huge thank you to the parents who joined us for our SEND Coffee Afternoon. It’s always a pleasure to welcome you into school and share conversation. Your support and partnership mean so much to us.

Year 2 Kingfisher

Our Kingfisher class have been swimming every afternoon this week and are making incredible progress! Their confidence in the water is growing daily, and we’re so proud of their efforts. Swimming will continue after the half-term break – keep up the fantastic work, Kingfishers!

OPAL – Lunchtime Fun in Full Swing
Thanks to our brilliant OPAL Observers – D’Khari, Sefora and Ejona – we’ve captured some of the joy happening during lunchtimes! Children are loving the scooters, digging in the sand, and dancing to some absolute CHOONS! It's been wonderful to see such creative, active play.

Wishing You a Wonderful Half Term!
We hope everyone has a restful, happy half term. Take time to relax and recharge – we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 2nd June.

Dates for Your Diary
Don’t forget to check the bottom of this newsletter for key dates coming up after the break. There’s lots to look forward to!

Thank you as always for your continued support. Have a lovely break!

Miss. Parker
