On Wednesday, year 4 had the opportunity to visit Twycross Zoo, where we deepened our understanding of conservation and the impact humans are having on wildlife. A highlight of the day was an inspiring talk with a zookeeper, who shared fascinating insights into efforts to protect endangered species and how we can all play a part in conservation.
As we explored the zoo, we encountered a variety of incredible creatures, from playful primates to majestic big cats, observing them up close in their carefully designed habitats. The trip sparked curiosity and meaningful discussions about the importance of protecting our planet and its wildlife. Our experiences at the zoo have inspired some fantastic writing and has given us plenty of ideas to bring our work to life.
