As you can imagine the children thoroughly enjoyed this experience. They all had a part to play and
played them very well.
Week 5.
This week the children were able to ask questions about the role of a Police Officer, talk about
their uniform including their camera's first aid kits etc.
They had a chance to try on different helmets and hats and experience exactly what it is like
being in handcuffs.
The children then read out the Junior PCSO pledge, all were also able to recite the phonetic
alphabet.
I am delighted to say all of the children passed.
They are now fully qualified Junior PCSO'S.
May I take this opportunity to thank Mat and Wil, it has been an incredible experience for
the children, I know they have enjoyed every part of it.
This is not the end ......... More to follow from our Junior PCSO's
Keep your eyes peeled.
Very soon you will see our Junior PCSO's out and about..........
This week, beginning 12th May, the Junior PCSO's have been outside of school on two occasions.
We have been monitoring parking, sadly cars have still been parking unsafely.
This parking monitoring will continue until the end of this school year.........
So parents please help us to keep all of our children safe.
Exciting News!
Our Junior PCSO's will be going to the Police Museum in Birmingham on Friday 23rd May.
We had the most amazing time at the "West Midlands Police museum".
The children learned about prison life, met an ex Murder squad detective, collected forensic evidence, and spent time in a police cell also lots more .
The children were worn out by the time we got on the train to come back to school.
Miss Fenlon informed me that we had walked 4 and a half miles.....
