Papyrus paper

Near the end of the week, we explored how the Ancient Egyptians recorded their ideas using hieroglyphics. We learned all about papyrus paper and were inspired to try making some of our own. The process helped us understand just how much effort went into each step of creating writing materials in the past. Once our papyrus is dry, we will be writing our names in hieroglyphs, ready to add to our Egyptian display.
