We were delighted to welcome a real scientist for a day bursting with exciting experiments and hands-on learning.
We began by exploring the life and achievements of one of history’s greatest minds, Sir Isaac Newton, often referred to as the father of physics. Through interactive activities, we investigated Newton’s ground breaking laws of motion. From testing gravity to launching rockets to firing mini cannons we were immersed in the wonders of physics. Later, we turned up the heat with flaming experiments that taught us about the power and potential dangers of fire. Our visiting scientist demonstrated just how fun and fascinating science can be, inspiring us to stay curious and encouraging us to ask thoughtful, scientific questions. After an exciting morning of exploration, we couldn’t wait to continue our investigations in the afternoon, diving even deeper into the incredible world of science.
