Classification (using sweets)
We took on the challenge of classifying sweets using scientific thinking. We carefully examined their characteristics—such as shape, colour and texture—and used 'yes' or 'no' questions to sort them into groups. By refining our questions, we created a classification key that helped us identify each sweet’s ‘species.’ This helped us understand how scientists classify living things in the natural world.
