Dear Parents and Carers,
Every Heart Matters Week During this week, our school community came together in a wonderful celebration of kindness, wellbeing, and awareness. We enjoyed a fantastic disco, where it was lovely to see children busting their best moves and spreading smiles by treating their friends to roses and chocolates. Our non-uniform day was also a great success, helping us to raise both awareness and valuable funds for Our Jay Foundation, who have generously supported us by providing a defibrillator for The Meadow. Thank you to all our families for your continued support in making this week so special and meaningful for everyone. 💛
Pancake day Our reception children had a truly lovely treat this week as they all enjoyed a freshly made pancake, cooked especially for them. There were lots of happy smiles as they tucked in and shared this special moment together. A huge thank you to our wonderful kitchen staff, who came in early to make this possible for our youngest pupils – we are so grateful for your dedication and care. Yum! 😋
Forest School As Forest School sessions continue to take place in all weathers, we kindly remind parents and carers to ensure children come to school wearing appropriate clothing on their Forest School days. Wellies or older trainers and a waterproof coat are essential, as sessions often involve muddy and wet conditions. Being dressed suitably helps children stay comfortable and fully enjoy their outdoor learning experience. Next half term, Forest School will be for Year 1 on Tuesdays and Year 3 on Wednesdays. Thank you for your continued support. 🌿
