Another exciting week here at Stoke with lots going on!

Teaching Talons

Teaching Talons came into school on Thursday this week to immerse the children in their topics, learning all about animals. The children could get up close and personal with several animals stroking, handling and feeding opportunities, along with the option of Chip, the performing dog as the grand finale! Miss Parker

Huge congratulations to Miss Parker who welcomed her daughter, Everly on 7^th January. All are doing well and learning lots about the joys of early parenthood.

Parking

We continue to monitor parking and although we cannot police this constantly, we felt that this was becoming safer. However, this week, there has been some dangerous parking and we cannot accept this. You MUST NOT parking / stop / drop off children on the yellow zig zag lines. These markings are in place to keep children visible and safe when arriving at and leaving school. Stopping or dropping off children on the zig-zag lines creates a serious risk to pedestrians and other road users. We kindly ask that you park considerately and legally, to help keep all of our children and families safe.

Bags

The number of children who are bringing large rucksacks into school is increasing. We do not insistent that children have a name book bag, however this size of bag is ideal. The children only need to bring a bag big enough for their reading book. This is to try and keep the corridors and cloak rooms clutter free.

Year Group Attendance

MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS TO KINGFISHER CLASS WHO ACHIEVED AN IMPRESSIVE 100% ATTENDANCE THIS WEEK! Well done Kingfisher class.

Dates for your diaries – Spring term

Trips – unless otherwise informed by the class teacher, uniforms must be worn on all school trips.
