Dear Parents and Carers,

Early Years Theatre Production

On Monday, our Early Years children were treated to a wonderful performance by Aesop’s Theatre Company. For some of our pupils, this was their very first experience of live theatre, making the event even more special. The children were captivated by the colourful costumes, expressive actors, and engaging storytelling. The production of The Gingerbread Man tied in beautifully with their current Fairy Tales topic, helping bring the story to life in a memorable and magical way. The excitement continued well into the day, with many children retelling their favourite parts to friends and staff.

Book Fayre

Thank you so much to everyone who visited and supported our Book Fayre last week. It was a tremendous success, we hope you managed to stock up on plenty of wonderful books ready for Christmas! Every pound spent helps our school, as we receive a proportion of the total to invest in new books for our library. Your support means we can continue to refresh our shelves and nurture a love of reading across the school. Thank you!

Athletics

After several weeks of dedication and practice, a group of our Year 6 pupils took part in the network athletics competition. They represented our school brilliantly, demonstrating teamwork, resilience, and fantastic sporting attitude. We are incredibly proud to share that they came 3rd in their heat—a fantastic achievement! Well done to all who took part.

Early Years Nativity

Reception class officially kicked off the Christmas season with their wonderful take on the Christmas story. The performance was filled with storytelling, music, dancing, and plenty of festive cheer. The children shone on stage and showcased their confidence and creativity. Afterwards, parents joined their children for a lovely Christmas craft session, creating memories (and decorations!) to treasure. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this special event.

Year Group Attendance

Attendance is everyone’s responsibility. We understand that there are many illnesses circulating at the moment, but please ensure you notify us each day your child is absent by reporting it through Studybugs. Your support helps us keep our records accurate and ensures we can offer any assistance needed.
