  • 🌳 2024-01-24Tree Planting

    Fri 26 Jan 2024

The School Council children have worked with Mr McGarrity, Mr Pahal and Mrs Taylor to plant multiple new trees, donated by a local supplier, around the school grounds.

The children worked in pairs to take turns digging, planting the stakes and planting the tree in the ground.

The school council will be naming their trees next week, so they can check on their tree growth over their time at Stoke.

We are all very excited to watch the trees grow with our children, through the seasons.

  • 🐤 Chick Eggs come to Stoke Primary

    Mon 22 Jan 2024

On Monday 22nd January, we welcomed several chick eggs to our Nursery classroom.

Children will experience the wonder of nature with our Nursery's exciting chick hatching project! Through watching the mesmerizing cycle of an egg, children learn valuable lessons in responsibility and caregiving as they nurture and care for the eggs and chicks in our classroom.

This hands-on experience promotes empathy, critical thinking, and scientific understanding, fostering a deeper appreciation for the delicate balance of life.

Join us in witnessing the miracle of chicks hatching and fostering a love for learning about the natural world as we welcome 9 chicks to Stoke.
