Home and Away 2023

The children are learning all about Coventry and Africa this half term. They have been learning about the different features of Coventry and what is 'man made' and 'natural'. They have also been looking at villages, towns and cities, they then created their own out of construction. 

We are learning all about the continent Africa. In our writing lessons we have been reading the story        'Why Mosquitoes buzz in peoples ears'. This story is set in West Africa and is about a Mosquitoes that talks nonsense, which then causes a lot of trouble. As part of immersive learning, the children collaged giant animals based on the animals in our book. They look amazing!
