Dear Parents and Carers,

It was great to see a sea of red clothing (and children’s own choice of clothes) in aid of Comic relief today. Thank you for the donations which go directly to help those who are in need.

A group of children in KS2 went to a farm this week and were lucky enough to see a goat give birth to triplets! What an experience, they were fascinated. We can’t wait to see the writing that follows and the further conversations they have. We believe that immersing children in real life experiences engages them with their learning and the desire to achieve highly whilst making links and connections.

Thank you for continuing to support your children with their reading at home, this really helps their progress. Please do keep going with this, practicing at least 4 times a week makes such a difference.

We are looking forward to sharing the children’s next steps during the parent consultations next week on March 19th and March 21st, 3.30-5.30pm. (Some classes have sent out alternative timings)

On Tuesday 19th March, we will have several interpreters in school to help with these conversations so please ensure you make use of this if needed. We would love to welcome anyone new to Stoke for coffee and cake from 2.30pm on Tuesday. Please let the office know if you would like to attend so we have plenty of cake!

Our next SEND coffee morning is Tuesday 19th March 9-10.30am. Please do come along to chat to Mrs Morris and myself. Of course, there will be cake here too!

We have lots of previously used uniform available if this would be helpful to you. Pop up to school on Thursdays from 3pm and ask the office if you would like to have a look.

If you have any questions, please drop into the school office or email to request a time to meet. We will always do our best to support you.

We are so proud of the children and every one of their journeys to being the best version of themselves.  Thank you for working in partnership with us.

Kind regards
