This week we have been immersed in poetry! Our writing lessons and reading lessons have all be dedicated to poetry and we have even had a visit from a Poet! (Not just any poet! Each class had a workshop with Emilie and wrote their own poems which we then performed to parents on Friday. The children have really thought about the volume, intonation, pitch, expression and pace that they read and have even added some actions. Below are some photos and the videos of our final pieces. We hope you enjoy listening to them, as much as we enjoyed writing and performing them.
