18th January 2023 Dear Parents and Carers,
Further to the news of the industrial action proposed by the National Education Union (NEU) on the dates given below, I wanted to communicate with you about the potential impact.
I am currently working with relevant staff whilst they take further professional advice and decide whether to proceed with taking action or not and I will look to update you by Wednesday 25th January on the plans in place.
I am aware that if the school has to close for some children, you will want the maximum notice for childcare arrangements. It is my role to keep school open for as many children as possible, but the safety of students is clearly paramount. Once I have more information, I will be able to identify how many students we can safely have on site.
