Dear Parents and Carers

During the last week we have been reviewing the drop off and collection systems.  Overall we are pleased with the way all our children are coming into school and have seen daily improvements.  The pavement is much clearer both before and after school and the children can get to the gates more easily.  Thank you for your support with this.  We are going to continue with the different collection times at the end of the day.

Key rules to remember

• One parent to bring your child to the gate
• Leave the pavement and fence area as soon as your child has entered school
• Be near the gate at the set time ready to collect your child
• Wear a mask

Many of you are choosing to wear a mask when coming to school.  Coventry City Council have ruled that all parents must wear a mask when picking up and dropping off their children at school.  I hope you will all support this as we try to ensure that Stoke can run safely for all our community.

We are busy in school assessing where your children are with their school work.  We plan to hold our parent consultations with you on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th October.  We are reviewing the rules so that we can plan this safely but still make sure you have the information you need regarding your child’s education.

A reminder to you all, school is closed on Friday 18th September and Monday 21st September for staff training days.
