The Domestic Abuse Bill was passed in the House of Parliament and was signed into law on 29th April 2021.

- Ø DA Act: Any incident or a pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive, physical. Sexual, threatening or violent behaviours, or economic abuse, between those aged16 years and over, who are or have been, regardless of gender or sexuality.
- Ø Personally connected to the perpetrator.
- Ø DA can happen to anyone regardless of any circumstances, age, wealth, postcode, education, religion, sexuality or disability.
- Ø In the majority of cases, it is perpetrated by men, however it affects all genders.

- Ø Forced Marriage
- Ø Honor based violence
- Ø Religious / Spiritual
- Ø FGM
