Monday – Veg Tasting Adventure

  • Introduce the week’s theme with a colourful veg display
  • Children explore textures, smells, colours
  • Tasting table: carrots, peppers, cucumber, tomatoes, sweetcorn
  • Chopping and cutting activities

Tuesday – Soup Makers

  • Children help wash and chop soft veg (supervised)
  • Add ingredients to a slow cooker
  • Smell‑check throughout the day
  • Afternoon: everyone tastes the finished soup

Wednesday – Supertato Story Day

  • Read Supertato (no copyrighted text needed)
  • Discuss heroes, villains, and healthy eating
